PUBLICATION CAMPAIGN

This series is dedicated to my father as he is my role model in life. He has experienced a lot in his life and one thing that resonated with me when I read the “I Have A Dream” speech was his life story. As an African-American man born in 1962 in Chicago, he saw the events unfold during the Civil Rights era. This series demonstrates the fights that we fought for equal rights in the 1960s to even now. The limited color palette shows my dad’s love for the Chicago sports teams as they are the red of the Cubs and Blackhawks and the navy of the bears.
